The parent leaves until 6:00 AM and leaves chores on the board. The night dialogue tells you to look through the front-door glass, use the laptop cameras, listen, help people who actually need help, and turn the porch light off when something looks or sounds wrong.
Before the first knock
- Find the front door and the porch-light switch on its right.
- Find the laptop in the front room. Guides place it on the coffee table.
- Walk the rooms you will need: parents' bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, backyard camera view, and the camera that watches the car.
- Read the chore board. It shows four tasks. Finishing that set refreshes the board.
- Note the allowance number on the board. Published guides do not agree on a single target.
The loop
Work a nearby chore while the house is quiet. Stop as soon as someone knocks. Run that visitor's check from the visitor tells page, then either open the door or kill the porch light. Go back to the board only after the doorway is clear.
Correct help and finished chores both feed the allowance. A wrong door call costs Sanity. Guides also report that a wrong refusal can cost Sanity, and one specific refusal destroys the car camera. Sanity is reported to start at 100. At 0 the night ends.
What this page does not cover
Update 8 added a second night, and Updates 5 through 11 added visitors whose individual tells are not in the July and August check lists. Use visitors after Update 5 for those names, and do not treat an early walkthrough as a complete roster.
