The laptop in the front room is the night tool. Update 5, dated August 19, 2026 in the experience description, added zoom and pan. It also added a visitor index. Zoom helps you look. It does not change which camera a visitor uses.
A sweep that matches the known tells
- Listen to the request before you cycle feeds, so you know whether you need the backyard, the car, or a room in the house.
- Look at the visitor on the normal front camera.
- Toggle night vision and watch for a few seconds. Face-on-the-lens, a height change, a giant child, an alien form, and a snapping head are all night-vision tells.
- Open the backyard feed for the Dog Owner and the car feed for the Obby Player or the Next Door Neighbour's threat to that camera.
- Leave sound on. Wifi Kid clicks or taps through the camera. Classmate, Party Girl, and Gym Bro are voice tells you can miss on mute.
Do not stop at the front camera
The Cat Lady, Firefighter, Plumber, and City Maintenance are decided in the house, not on the porch feed. Police Man is decided by the vehicle outside. A clean front-door close-up is not a full check.
If the visitor is missing from the camera while standing at the door, that is the Homeless Man's reported anomaly sign. Treat a direct-view versus camera contradiction as a warning for anyone else too, then confirm it against that visitor's written tell.
